Join Profectum

Joining Profectum is free and provides access to many of our learning resources and tools to understand each child’s unique developmental needs. Parents get access to individualized tools, expert practitioners and collaborators, support for both you and your child, and proven pathways to success. Profectum and DIR® provide you with the resources you need to customize your child’s experience and create meaningful relationships.

Build Team

Child's Team is comprised of one or more team members supporting the Child. Parents, Practitioners,CareGivers and Educators can all be members of the Child's Team. A team is started by a Parent adding their Child. Team members can collaborate with each other at every step of their Profectum Journey using both the Profectum website and Progression mobile app.

Goal Plan

Progress happens with clear goals, and Profectum provides the tools for your team to set goals for your child. The Parent Toolbox provides simple tools to create goals. The Profectum Goal Bank is intended to be initiated by educators and practitioners as part of an IEP or treatment plan. Annual goals can be broken down into monthly and weekly micro-goals. Using Profectum's tools, team members can work together to help your child achieve developmental goals

Record Progress

Tracking your child’s progress towards their goals on a weekly, monthly, and yearly basis allows you to understand progress towards developmental milestones, celebrate achievements, and adjust goals in light of progress. Team members designated as “observers” automatically receive notifications in the Progression App and can easily provide feedback with a few clicks.

Assess

Use monthly reports to assess your child's progress and update targets. Continue to record progress, make assessments and update targets throughout the year.
